We did in fact hold an informal meeting yesterday evening, though a few
people ran into an earlier commitment that ran much longer than expected.
We had 7 people present, so on we went.
Basic summary: a new version of the requirements draft will be posted to the
Internet-Drafts directory once the posting process begins again. I'll
forward notice of the announcement to this list. Once the word is out, I'd
like to give everyone two weeks to give the document a good once-over, kind
of like a WG last-call, before forwarding the document to the IESG for
action. If we find significant issues I'll make appropriate edits and we'll
do another 2-week review cycle.
There appears to be consensus that we don't have critical mass to form a
working group. That being the case, I intend to have a personal chat with
both Patrick and Randy to fill them in and discuss options for moving
forward.
