At some point on 11 December 2000 US eastern time, the name of this mailing
list will change from "rrp@NSIRegistry.net" to "rrp@verisign-grs.com". The
name of the list server address will also change from
"majordomo@NSIRegistry.net" to "majordomo@verisign-grs.com". The old
addresses will not be deactivated immediately, but I am not yet sure of how
long they will remain active.
If the IETF decides to move forward with creation of a working group to work
on a generic registry-registrar protocol (and I assume it will), we will
need to create a new mailing list for the working group. If/when that
happens, discussions relating to the GRRP requirements draft and protocol
proposals will move to that mailing list. This list will remain active, but
the focus will be limited to discussions of the existing NSI RRP.
I will provide more information as it becomes available.
