I assume you mean EPP as opposed to EEP.
RRP will likely be around for a while. VeriSign will eventually deploy EPP
or whatever protocol standard the IETF's provreg working group settles on,
and there will likely be a period of parallel operations. No plans have yet
been developed for the duration of that parallel operation period, and no
decisions have been made about the eventual demise of RRP.
